The venue was absolutely amazing and wonderfully condusive to a day of information as well as pampering. BELVIDERE MANOR provided a wonderfull setting for the day, and we would like to especially thank JEFFREY for his untiring good humour and help during the course of the day.

MY JOURNEY TO CHANNELING (By LEIGH CATOR)
Throughout my life I can remember wanting to help people. As a young child I nursed the itchy bites, massaged tired feet and had a certain ‘gift’ with putting restless babies to sleep. Finally in high school I decided on psychology, which unfortunately did not work out as I could not get into certain universities. So, I decided to take a break and went overseas instead.
Overseas I learnt a lot about myself and discovered other ‘gifts’ that lay within me. As I opened up to these ‘gifts’ I became overwhelmed and a bit frightened of what I could see. Not understanding enough, I decided to leave it all behind and study travel and tourism. After traveling and working for awhile, I moved cities, looking for something I was missing. Here I decided to study Phytotherapy (herbalism). Moving cities again, I ended up in Pretoria where my real journey began.
4 years later life through me a huge curveball, I lost my business and was pregnant with my daughter. Not being able to find work, I decided to find another direction and ended up at a Healthstyles alternative therapy workshop. It was here that I decided to study Bodytalk. It took me awhile to understand, and to find out that these therapies actually worked! Yes, like most people, I started out as a skeptic and really just wanted to be able to give people a ‘cup of herbal tea’ to make them ‘feel better’. After becoming a Bodytalk Practitioner, a year later, I decided to study Reiki and many other forms of therapies. From here I did self healing almost everyday and, during that time, I was ‘asked’ to Channel.
Again, not understanding what it was I was meant to do, I went to Helene, my mentor, close friend and, at that time, my Core Regeneration therapist. Helene has taken me through my journey, guiding me and supporting me through it all. I discovered that it was through me that messages and healing needed to be delivered to those who are in need. It is now 3 years later and I am proud to say that I Channel with a passion and a love for what I do. In that time, I have also received my Masters in Reiki and am now a proud Core Regeneration therapist. Most recently I did a course on Animal Communication and now combine all that I do, and am always on the look out to learn more……my journey as a Channel continues.
